I don’t disagree, cultures differ. Even managers in our company don’t agree with my ethos (but their team members regularly request to move into my team...).

You clearly misinterpreted our situation.

Really?

Doubt it all you like.

As the manager of a small software development team, I completely agree with you.

As a manager, I whole heartedly agree with you. Nice to see someone else agrees with my mind set.

(Male manager of a software development team).

I probably have one of (if not the) fastest connection of the LH community, when I’m at home. But I’m also not in the US.

I get you there, but also, I don’t live in the US, and I don’t have only one ISP that serves my area.

I disagree - and I’ve worked tech support for an ISP in the past.

I think I need to show my SO that.

And it’s your right to complain. I just think it’s a waste of time to be continuously checking.

This gets filed firmly in “1st world problems.”

Please don’t get me wrong, when I said “interesting take” - I didn’t mean it in a negative way.

Bad connections tend to drop immediately, rather than randomly during the course of 24hours. But a good thing to check nonetheless.

+1 for electrical interference being the cause.
