Did you just recently learn the words “euphemism” and “arcane?” Or did you bet someone you could use them so many times it would distract readers from the point you weren’t making? Or do you just not know what a thesaurus is?
After reading your laborious response, I don’t think you get us, which is the problem.
One thing I have learned by reading Gawker sites, including the comment sections. is that nothing of note happened before the fall of the Berlin Wall. It’s all some hazy “there be dragons” type place.
It’s easy to frame this as some sort of Marxist “the gears of capitalism are greased by the blood of the workers” claptrap. But the reality is, this is a sport dictated by a salary cap. No matter how arcane its rules, or how much they may favor team interests, each team has a critical need to acquire the greatest…
I think if a men’s team played like this for a season people would love it. But this has been going on for a long time and shows no sign of letting up, and I think the men’s tournament would suffer if a team dominated for such a long period.

Regardless, of how schefter ‘obscured’ things, I’ve seen multiple other reports on espn and other outlets that explicitly state the broncos want kaepernick to give up money and renegotiate his deal. espn, nfl, etc aren’t trying to hide the paycut request.…
