@KamWrex: This isn't a fax service, it's a directory of fax services.

@Jeff: Thanks for the tip!

Thank you Gizmodo! The first article about the iPhone HDR feature was very lackluster, including a LOT of photos that were not appropriate for HDR. I'm quite glad for the "Is this HDR-worthy" section.

Obviously this is not serious, but I'm looking forward to some of the features of the iPhone coming to "real cameras" (SLR and compact).

@akarpens: Is that the only distance you ever run? I noticed that my 5k time went way down when I made that the MINIMUM distance I would run every week.

Like the author of the article, I'm also pretty disappointed with the disappearance of COLOR from the sidebar :-(

VOTE: 2Do for iOs.

@joelvincent: I don't know about Beat the Traffic, but I bought an app called Traffic! that has a significant advantage over the Google Maps traffic. Google Maps only gives you one route. Traffic! suggests multiple routes, and you can choose which one you think is going to be best. It also gives you estimated times

@w1llk - Undoubtedly Cookies: My big wish for the Maps app is for it to be able to incorporate the maps I've made in My Maps on my Google Account. That would be so ridiculously handy, but I guess there's not much demand for it.

@MaxellDVD1: I just bought it and tried to download the ISO, but it downloaded the file DLMWin7Pro64US-ISO.exe… Which obviously I can't open on my Mac. Any suggestions?

Am I right in interpreting that Windows 7 deal as an upgrade for people with Windows already? When I add it to my cart at the site it classifies it as "Microsoft Windows 7 Professional Upgrade." I want to buy a copy of Windows to install on my Macbook Pro, but obviously an upgrade license wouldn't work.

@Dallifornia: You couldn't get the whole Perfect Dark experience without that little gizmo… So worth it.

The one that really sticks in my mind from when I volunteered at a hospital: Code Gray, for a missing child.

@madisondj: I don't understand how this math is incorrect.

@pseizure2000: Yeah, but in a very argumentative and unhelpful way. Good point overshadowed by unprovoked hostility.

I'm giving this the #whitenoise tag because it's not strictly relevant as a "fix."

"What's also interesting is a finding that your academic rank is more useful in getting a job than the prestige of your school."

@tenio: I like what you're doing here, but I hope it's only supplemental. Please also seek out the advice of your high school's college counselor for this sort of thing, as they will know much more about you than we can from your post.
