Also...”breech”.

If you look at it as a TV adaptation, the ur-text for it might be the many, many, BBC/Masterpiece histories of British royalty, whose factual outlines are very well-known but whose details are not uppermost in even UK viewers’ minds.

I really hate “my thing is more important than your thing” posts, but speaking of new management of stuff Warners owns:

Three days after watching: new prediction is Poppy/Becky is the actual killer, despite them pointing us at Cinda this week.  No plot reason, just structurally; we think Poppy is very much on our side because she’s downtrodden, and we’ll discover she’s just wacko.  Although, two wacko women in two seasons seems like a

No idea what the comics continuity is on this, but if Bruce and Jen share some weird DNA because they’re cousins, I wouldn’t be amazed if one of their shared grandparents was either Kree or Skrull.  (Skrull because of the green...wait, are MCU Skrulls green? Whatever.)

Even on its own terms, I want to know if the USO girl was fucking Steve Rogers or Captain America. That is, knowingly.  (Also...1943?  What was he waiting for?)

Mmm... I can’t prove it, but I suspect shows that were made for HBO proper are safe. Of the ones you list, only Station 11 was a Max original.

As a tangent: I will never stop being amused by the fact that normal TV shows are advertised as “A CBS Original!”  You know, a TV show.

And their second home, HBO Max, is...whatever.  Who knows.

More precisely yet, most cable “networks” are actually cable channels. The CW is a network made up of a whole bunch of local channels, called affiliates. TNT is a channel. (On the other hand, there are multiple HBOs, for instance, but those are a family of individual channels, not a single “HBO network”.)

I’ve heard “collapse game” for Tetris/Bejeweled/Candy Crush,  but I don’t think it’s caught on.

They wanted to do something like militia/white nationalists, but didn’t want to get involved with saying it was militia. Which is sort of chickenshit in the same way that having the FAMverse Democrats of 1994 act exactly like the real-world Republicans is.

There seems to be a new meaning of “scrubbing”, which refers to searching a video by sliding the time bar around. Maybe that’s the basis of this usage.

I missed that and it’s great.

You go to download a 50GB game. You have 50GB of free space. The console says you need to clear 10GB to make room.”

Also, unless it got changed recently, sorting a bunch of stuff on sale “by price” sorts it by the list price. I mean Jesus fuck why do you think people sort by price?

especially for anyone who happened to abuse Bloodhound Step or Rivers of Blood”

It’s amazing how many “people trapped in a place and they’ll die soon” movies there are, going back to at least Open Water and that non-Disney movie Frozen (which I assume has caused many a terrible children’s movie night mixup). In a sauna! In a shark cage! Blake Lively on a sandbar with a shark! Now-husband Ryan

As one of the few people (as far as I know) who watched the recent The Man Who Fell to Earth series, I keep thinking about switching the leads of those two shows, both of whom are playing aliens-in-human-bodies-to-often-comical -effect.

Several northeastern states still have roads called Turnpikes, including MA, CT, and NY.
