And note that what’s actually a potential problem in SV is not being Christian, as such, but being anti-gay, which they made an end run around by having the guy be gay himself. (It was Brendan Eich, then-CEO of Mozilla, and the issue even then was a) contributions to an anti-SSM campaign, and b) the idea of CEO as

I keep wondering: if there was a 3-year time jump, are we in the present now? Was the first half of the series thus set 3 years ago? Is this noticeable if you go back and look? I actually think about this for most shows’ large time jumps, but it’s more relevant here because of the immigration stuff. (Except, of

Goddammit Barry.

I’ve been thinking for some time how much alike the two actresses look.

And I should add...the irony here is that Reynolds probably didn’t sing this at all! As you see here, it’s all a chorus; her solos in the movie are dubbed by other people. I don’t know if it’s her voice in “Good Morning” or what, so it’s possible she didn’t sing at all in the film about how she dubs other

Someone wrote him a letter reprimanding him for supporting such work. He answered, in part, “As a journalist I felt obliged to report factually that I did, indeed, laugh a lot at this

Absolutely. It doesn’t take 90 minutes for her to become a movie star. It takes about 2.

Didn’t they say outright that the plant got its power from the meteor? (I came back from it all of a half hour ago so I’m not sure.)

Which is why she should absolutely not be correcting anyone!

TUSK!

I’ve seen a complaint that ones available digitally aren’t the next 3 in order; on the other hand I can’t promise the network is showing them in the right order anyway. (Putting the “best” ones up front and such.)

[Yeah it’s 16 months later but...]

Using that woman for a voice-only performance seems like a waste. (And from her IMDB it looks like she does a lot of voice work.)

“He’s self-basting!”

I’m wondering if the whole thing would have worked better at normal network-TV-season length, with about a half-dozen more standalones. As it is, the Sarek episode and the second Mudd episode are the only ones that are not entirely arc stuff.
