Ahhh… now I understand better.

“Invulnerable”
I’m in the “I really like it, but not at that price” club. A bit less, and I’d absolutely buy. ND.
I think I want to know timeline. It was owned and garage kept in AZ… then current seller bought it a little over a year ago and is selling it already? I’m assuming the current owner bought it, didn’t like the 6, and did the swap. Then added the garish steering wheel and window tint. And now they want out.
They’re just prepared for every eventuality. Particularly volunteer depts like my fathers…they could be going to an accident, car fire, chimney fire, grass fire, rescue or just trying to get an elderly person who slipped in the shower upright again. New trucks are amazingly modular and most of the space has something…
My job is mostly customer feedback, research and focus groups. I know the budgets that are available in a billion dollar company that employs 100k+ people. It’s all mainly why I think they aren’t actually missing. It’s just not something that an enthusiast would enjoy. People actually want this stuff. And their…
I have a number of firefighters in my family, and my father specifically was involved in purchasing trucks for the volunteer department he was captain for.
That’s a silly over reaction.
I’m going out on a limb and will suggest that the reasons stated by dealers are complete bullshit.
Ugh. If Chrysler followed their designs of this era with cars that were actually good to drive, I’d have much fonder memories of them. As is, most of them were miserable crap cans that looked neat. I “lucked” into a turbo pt cruiser as a rental one time years ago, and it felt decidedly slower than the much less…
It’s all deeply embarrassing. They should just sound like electric cars.
It’s cool, but not $23k cool. I’d rather put my $23k towards a ‘Vette better suited for the Starbucks drive through like the Car Gods intended. ND.
Today, instead of working, I spent more time than I should learning about Super Buggers. And everything I learned confirms one thing: ND.
Wait... Challenger guy isn’t in here? This post is made for him!
If Nissan were just a wee bit bolder and gave the new Z t-tops (or a convertible), I’d have a blue one with the blue interior in my driveway now. Still a lot more black than from the good ole’ years, but that amount of blue is awesome.
You miss the point. Different fires need a different fight. A firefighter knows you don’t use water on an electrical fire. Departments will learn about how to handle EV fires. Water isn’t the answer. Pumping 30k gallons of water on an EV fire is a department that hasn’t had the training yet.
Then be very worried if you find yourself booked on AC. ;)
Not a chance. I’ve flown both routinely, and Air Canada is really bad...like finding new ways to disappoint every time I fly bad. WestJet has had some challenges of late, but they’re still far better.
Air Canada is really good at creeping under what ever low bar you set for an airline.
I honestly could care less whether there is actually any AG punishment handed down in this case. Jail time would be nice (as another commenter mentioned), but I’m fairly certain the automotive lobby is strong enough to support it’s dealers and keep fines to a minimum.
