There’s a similar comment in here already that I want to expand on: we need to do a MUCH better job of making sure that all drivers receive regular instruction. The other comment is “It needs to be both much harder to get a driver’s license in this country and much easier to lose it.” And I agree with this… but have

I’d also apply to stroads. Left lanes are for over taking and turning left.

This will only result in squishy accidents as motorcyclists are killed by relatively slower moving cars that don’t see the fast moving lane splitter.

That is amazing, and probably the most difficult idea in here to change. All of the really big companies involved only see dollar signs with this data…and will be able to make the case for safety with their billions of dollars in lawyers.

Where I live (Ontario, Canada), the left turn is already legally obscure. It’s not “illegal”, but they’re not explicitly legal either. A left hand turn is only allowed if safe to do so. This usually means that a protected left onto a multi lane road can run into the situation you talk about. If there’s an

Might be a bit recycled, but it’s still awesome.

The existence of Project 2025 isn’t the worst part of this. It’s terrible and could permanently change the US if even parts of it becomes true, sure.  But that’s not the worst part.

I find the movement towards shorter, more hatchback-like, CUV’s interesting. This is basically a hatchback... but it’ll never be sold that way because people are weird. It would be better if CUV’s didn’t happen at all, but if they gradually turn back into wagons and hatchbacks to gain efficiency, I’m very cool with

For some reason, I’m in for this. $12k for a Jag I always thought looked a little boring is pretty cool considering what’s under the hood. Yeah... maintenance might suck, and it probably smells like watermelon vape inside. The supercharged V8 beckons though... NP.

I suspect most intentionally tried to forget this one. As a new car, at new car prices, the 200 just wasn’t very good. The interior is far from spacious - there are smaller cars that felt roomier than this. And the interior quality was about the worst I saw amongst competing products. Materials are cheap and

I honestly didn’t know Chris Evans was from Boston until now.

My couch won’t sink.

Seems like I’m going against popular opinion on this one. They’re selling around the $9k mark right now, but this is one that has all the things I’d want done already done. I don’t think I could pick up a $9k 280i and end up in the same spot for less than $10k. I’d probably end up spending $20k trying to get there.

Canada looking in…

If people only laugh and dismiss, that dude is going to be vice president.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen one of these in person, or otherwise. By the time I was old enough to care, Canada happened and pretty much every one had thoroughly rusted out. It looks super cool. But it’s WAY too much to be interesting. That’s buy another Miata money, not buy a Datsun everybody forgot about money.

I kinda love it enough that I was looking at the map and pondering. Fortunately it’s far enough off to decide against it…I can’t remember the last time I saw a Saab convertible in Canada. This might be on a GM platform, but there’s a lot of Saab in here. Quite a lot more than what GM wanted to happen really. If

This is a Saab Saab. The Epsilon platform (I.e. Opal platform share) wasn’t used for the 9-3 until 2003.

Since I’m not a special events limo driver, I have no use for such a thing.  So what do I think?  I can get a lot of Miatas for $59k.  ND.

Love it…now I need to look and see if there are any others in Canada.  For this one, that looks like a ton of fun for $6500…I even don’t mind the carb rebuild that’s suggested.  Easy NP.
