Exactly.
The big mistake is to think of him as dumb.
Sold! Pretty perfect two-car garage!
It doesn’t get a lot of love pretty much anywhere... but the electric motors in my car makes a sound that is absolutely thrilling to 8 year old me who spent too much time watching the Jetsons in reruns. Of course, you kind have to really lean into it to hear it, and that kind of only happens on on-ramps, but that…
Until Mike Tyson chews off a side mirror.
PSA:
I’m happily looking for a V8 Mustang... and it will be an automatic because I’d rather drive it that way. Sometimes, people want a car for it’s V8-ness and not for a transmission that nobody wants anymore.
Vote.

Retro Cars Forever doesn’t really come to a conclusion on which Corvette is the best Corvette
I don’t think I’ve seen one of these since the 90’s.
And specifically for the Fit, people that know it, know it’s one of Honda’s best cars, and that supplies are limited. It has enough fans to keep demand high.
I’d kinda like to have both. Pretty cool two car garage right there.
It’s a steer-by-wire thing, not an EV thing…but you’re right…the 87 New Yorker my parents had could do this.
Jumped out at me too… at first, I was puzzled - Tesla drivers were typically not of the affiliation that would use “buttercup.” Maybe the CT is where Tesla’s customers pivot to those who share Musk’s outlook. Which…since it’s the dumbest thing on the road, is starting to make sense.
However, the chances of a steering shaft breaking are far, far, far, faaaaaaaarrrr less than the chances of a steer-by-wire system malfunctioning.
It was pretty much a cesspool of porn, stupid videos and arguing the moment it became a thing.
