I normally will go ND for cars I know I have no business fitting in, but I love an old RX-7.  Maybe glutton for punishment.  So NP for being an awesome early 80's coupe that I’d love to own... though I’d totally get the seller to drop the price and keep his ugly wheels.

Well… yeah. I don’t understand how anybody thought it was going to work this time.

The dealerships I’ve purchased from have all done the same thing - they say they bring in the cars that people want, but when I’ve tried to order an actual colour, they incentivize the purchase of a grey car on the lot.

Perhaps they can appeal to Mr. Trump and his billions

I don’t even care if most of that was tongue-in-cheek, it’s a pretty fucking dumb question.  Not quite as dumb as the continual use of the word woke, but pretty dumb.

Well that’s an easy ND for a Monday morning.

The Irish in me is happy…the UX advocate in me is quite worried.

You’ve missed a key component: supply and demand.

Another good reason for it to be driven from a phone...

I might be very anti-VW... but something extra old has some appeal.

I LOVE the car to car communication idea. It’s something that I’ve thought about a lot...I know Audi is working on it, but it really needs to be automaker agnostic. I’d also extend it to traffic signals. Most of them are fairly smart now, and there’s no reason they can’t communicate with the cars around them either.

As soon as you take your foot off the accelerator in a Tesla, it lights up the brake lights.

once you start one-pedal driving, you’ll never want to go back

It was pretty much guaranteed to happen. I assume we’ll see more weird shenanigans too. No one who understands off roading and water crossings is buying this, so it’s certainly the “watch this!” crowd that was clogging mall parking lots a few years ago by summoning their car.

God no. It’s double the price and quadruple the ugly of a regular F-150.

The only reason anyone buys a coupe or crossover that’s not a Porsche is money.

Yep.  In this case most of my suspicion is because the audience providing the data may have a reason to be tracking battery life.

This was the car I wanted to buy when what I actually bought was a Cavalier. I’m ok with the price so it gets a nostalgic NP from me. I still see them once in a while, and I always stop and look. Might be blasphemous, but the MX-6 has always been right up there with the FD RX-7 as one of Mazda’s best designs to my eye.

Yeah... maybe not exactly the right word, but it’ll work.  :)

The Mazda5 is a well-known blip in Mazda’s otherwise pretty good reputation (it had a lot of the same powertrain components as the Mazda3, but was something like 600 lbs heavier... they went through transmissions frequently). They did have their rusty years too (I owned one then), but the cars never left me stranded.
