I wondered aloud in another post about a stupid “never going to work” crime and how they thought they were ever going to get away with it. Some suggested it started small and snowballed. Which seems plausible.

I find it interesting that the seller chose to shine up the seats that much, but didn’t wash the exterior at all. Weird.
Tesla Will Charge You $50,000 If You Somehow Manage To Resell Your Cybertruck
An extreme rarity.
I do think this is exactly it. It started with $1000. Or $100. That didn’t help...and it snowballed from there.
Make sure someone is in the photograph
There have been a bunch of posts like this lately where my only thought was “how did this guy think he was going to get away with this?”
because it’s going to be one of the first such models, we thought the name Prelude just best fits this model
Easy ND. I’ve seen nicer S1's sell for much less money over the last couple years, and the difference isn’t going to be inflation.
I have an irrational love of the e34. I think it’s the best looking sedan ever made, and the 540i had just the right amount of power. Prices have been escalating…placing this one below average, which fits given the mileage. These aren’t $10k cars anymore…certainly not in any condition that you want to buy. NP…even…
Didn’t realize they were great cars.
This is what I was thinking too. There are a couple Lambos, Ferraris and a McLaren in town. They all drive as though they were the kid in school that spent the entire day running in circles and screaming “why won’t anyone look at me???”
Stellantis is weird. Their product cycle could be driven by capacity as much as it is customer purchase behaviour. But then Jeep buyers seem to dislike change.
Think of it a different way: automakers have that 6 year model cycle to balance development cost of new models with buyers’ continual fussiness and desire for new styles. It’s ultimately important to maintain revenue, and development of a new model includes plans for minor and major refreshes needed to maintain a…
That’s a great summary… but I think there’s one more:
Like I said… those refreshes are the things regular automakers do every three years. Tesla has yet to do one major cycle refresh on any model.
I blame instagram. People flocked there over the last five years or so because it kept showing up on lists of best day trips from the GTA.
I can’t decide between two. I live in Southern Ontario, and apart from a small number of roads near the Niagara Escarpment, there really isn’t anything. So I have to travel.
You are a saint. Great choice too.
