Forks of the Credit is a tourist hotspot now.  It’s a fun drive, but you won’t get over 20 km/h due to traffic and continual police presence.  It’s also only a 5 min drive.

Yeah... you’re right. I do think the sales figures for the Escalade/Tahoe/Suburban/Yukon would be a pretty good guess for what an actual large Tesla SUV would sell though...and I’m pretty sure that’ll be way above what a pickup will sell. I assume the CT’s best case is somewhere around Ridgeline numbers. If Toyota can

Tesla has introduced 4 models in 4 categories in 11 years. The Model S has been refreshed. The Model 3 is about to get it’s first refresh. That’s it.

They have investors and shareholders. This vehicle isn’t going to make its money back as is. Meanwhile, the rest of the lineup is seriously aging. They really need to be putting attention on another car that’ll sell multiple hundreds of thousands annually.

That listing read a LOT like a dealership selling back lot cars as personal vehicles. Which might explain the no test drives statement in the listing.

I wonder if there’s a point where they pull the plug. This thing is going to make the Model S look like a sales champ, and I honestly wonder what would devalue Tesla stock more: gutting the Cybertruck entirely, or two years of low sales before cancellation?

I don’t think I’ve ever seen one of these.  Was just about to slam ND because it was an expensive old Monte Carlo I have no interest in.  Now when I see the rear glass, I think it’s ugly too.

And it’s entirely Tesla’s fault.

Alan Ruck is 67?!?

Last I looked, the average sale price was $30k.  I’ve seen plenty with > 125k miles in the teens.  The cars with less than 50k miles seem to be the $40k+ cars.  There are choices...but it’s definitely a “get what you pay for” market.

Unfortunately very true... and I suspect it’s the big reason Z32 prices are getting pulled up (that, and the price of 240's).

No, we have a manufacturer that’s intentionally deceiving customers.

I use one of the free online kanban options. It was a bit of a revelation when I started. My kanban has 5 columns: Backlog, Next, Now, Paused and Done. Next can only have 5 items in it. Now only 3. I add new to do’s to the backlog and they move through Next and Now as I finish items. There are no deadlines, only

I kinda love it.  Good thing it entirely too far away from me to consider!  The price is pretty much right where it should be too. I think the folks saying it’s too high haven’t shopped around for classics.  All of the popular stuff in this condition is WAY more, so this kind of a bargain.  Pretty easy NP.

No… it’s ignorance. There’s a responsibility to actually know how your vehicle works beyond the marketing. Car marketing has *always* pushed more of an ideal over real life. Look at all the ads in the 80’s and 90’s that placed cars in the middle of a field. It was unrealistic, and people knew it. Now we have

Glad I’m not the only one.  It’s not a pretty truck…but that frontal view is just weird.

There are some narrow Starbucks drive throughs that will be pretty treacherous.

The answer is every damn older car. But since you’re looking for more than a one slide slideshow…

First gear - separating the bullshit Tesla and Elon says, the conclusions have been correct. Every Tesla crash I can recall that made the news, and was blamed on autopilot, was clearly driver error. Lots of people ignorant of how their autonomous cars do/don’t work.

Makes more sense said that way yes.
