It’s not even AI, I don’t know why people keep calling it that. It’s plate recognition software. A video clip or photo is captured and assigned to the plate, this is cross referenced with a database from the DMV and a letter is sent to the registered address with a fine.

Are residents not already informed that it is illegal to park in bus zones? Isn’t there a sign that says “NO PARKING”?
