Oh give me a fucking break. People need to get over this whole, if you didn’t write about it then Nintendo wouldn’t have found it shit. You make it sound like Nintendo is a bunch of morons.

I mean this is what people wanted when they said they wanted free to play game with cosmetic purchases only. They don’t get to keep making their free to play game free to play unless they can hook whales and there’s no gameplay being locked behind any of these purchases so the complaint is purely that you don’t get to…
Perfect.
From the 11/20/23 CityLab article - (to supplement this articles truncated 5th paragraph)
I’m sure Jenna Ortega took a really long time to study the nuances of the conflict, but for what it’s worth, here’s what her co-star said:
5 years seems like an appropriate sentence for what this guy did. There’s a reason why victims don’t get to set sentences.
Worse, they had live next to you!
Not trying to be ‘that guy’ who comes out in favor of Cruise (I live in SF and hate all the autonomous vehicles and the traffic backups and shit they cause), but it’s true that initially this was headlined by a number of news outlets as “Cruise vehicle hits pedestrian”, with little or no mention of the fact that she…
“Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus” is such a jarring combination of words. It’s like if there was an Italian WWII officer with a really English name, so he went by “Comandante John Smith” .

Perhaps we should push for lighter vehicles and reconsider the headlong rush to 6000lb vehicles since there are a lot of unintended consequences. In addition to increasing tire dust pollution and environmental destruction from rare earth and copper mining we now have to build more pparking garages, or tear down and…
“I have never seen an attractive woman in real life” vibes from the guy in this thread here.
yeah my first playthrough I sort of lost interest by the end because I’d drive by a building, stop my motorcycle for a minute and murder everyone inside from the curb and drive on
I can't believe I'm suggesting this, but this should basically be a live service game, right? Manage it like Fortnite and you have a constantly evolving game (which could update teams/stats etc in effectively real time) and try not to be too evil with the monetisation.
Stealth netrunning was incredibly OP, originally. You could basically crouch somewhere outside and watch through the cameras as the enemy health whittled down to nothing. I haven’t tried the new version of the game yet, but any kind of actual reaction to that stuff has to be an improvement.
So, in other words, small-town cops on a power trip?
That’s the simpletons way to excuse away Americans’ cant-do attitude. So proud!
Europe and China are comparable sizes.
The point is not for a train to somehow outcompete planes crossing the continent, just that’s it better than other options for most of the distances that people actually go. Driving from the NYC to LA is WAY slower than driving, and yet hte roads go the whole anyway. Why? Because…
