Jason (the brand, not the dude, though maybe him also I guess?) has several flavors of SLS-free toothpaste, with or without fluoride. They can be found in most Whole Foods stores if you have one near you.

Yeah, I personally have no qualms about sulfates in shampoo, but I have read at a few reputable medical sites that SLS is one possible trigger for aphthous ulcers AKA canker sores, so I started only using toothpaste that doesn't have it, and can anecdotally report that it seems to help cut way down on recurrences.
