The Far Side and the golden age of heavy metal.

Computer classes in school actually being about programming (albeit in BASIC). I feel sorry for younger people whose idea of a “computer class” was learning Microsoft Office in excruciating detail.

I think she had a lot of talent, but it all got channelled into a very mannered, narrow type. I don’t know if she could have ever smoldered like a Lauren Bacall, or been as engaging as Audrey Hepburn, but I think a more personal, idiosyncratic director could have gotten a lot more out of her.

Agreed, I like movies and many stars of this era, but the Doris Day thing escaped me.  She was too plain and wound up tight even for the era.

Since I normally work from home and my jobs has been very busy,  the social isolation doesn’t really get to me on the weekdays.  I suspect I’ll be hammering my balls on Saturday

I did that yesterday

I know, Right? How does everyone not know this story?

Bless us with your wisdoms, people under 30! Clearly we have so much to learn.

Is John Corbett that hot though? Maybe it’s cause I hate long hair on men but I don’t think he’s the male equivalent of Leah Remini. Though I think I must be wired wrong as a straight woman as most Hollywood leading men make me think ‘eh? That guy?’

What an unnecessarily pissy article.

There are really two separate issues at play here, and they are worth considering separately: 1) How likely is it that Woody Allen is guilty of the crime he is accused of? and 2) Should you refuse to publish Allen’s work if you think Allen is “probably guilty”— and, if so, how high does the probability have to be

Did Rian Johnson know about this when he put that whole “nobody” section into The Last Jedi?

Felt like a bad Sorkin twist.

Can you at least spell Poltergeist correctly? Journalism 101...

I’ll be original and not mention the elephant in the room.  This is going to be a waste of time since its pretty well established that Garys dad wasn't the killer.  The only evidence is he looks like the famous police sketch.  Thats really about it.  This is an entire genre in true crime, the daddy did it genre.  I'd
