Yeah, my point is, in the “Challenge” they’ve got working 4WD, which would basically have been impossible in the timeframe or materials.
Doesn’t make the show any less fun to watch.
I’ve got most of both shows on my computer. If you watch too long you start to notice things the teams really couldn’t have done, like rigging up a function 4wd system by finding axles, engines and wheels.
Yeah, I honestly want to go back to Chop Shop. I want to watch Leepu work, not hear an announcer talk about how “the t-56 transmission has 700lb/ft of torque.” (I swear that was actually said in an earlier episode.
Much as I loved it, going back and watching some of it there was NO WAY it was done in the time limits given. example: both teams supposedly had to engineer functional 4wd systems that were all hooked up properly, and supposedly started with a frame and an engine and wheels. where did the transfer cases, driveshafts,…
Monster Garage was okay. I did enjoy it. But I’ve been going back and watching and noticing continuity errors left and right.
I swear #3 was a Discovery Channel thing.
What’s the difference?
Dream Factory Blow. That’s the name of the company that builds those conversions.
Unfortunately, that’s a fairly easy question to answer. They already had the Murano. Making the CrossCab wasn’t tooooo far of a stretch of the current version. However, they’d need an entirely new small RWD platform for this car.
The Prowler is right up there, too.
I mean, we all SAY that, but do you really want him to have one of those if he’s never going to drive it or anything?
Splash everywhere.
Well, I know you could get one on a 1985 Mazda RX-7 GSL. I don't know any further than that.
I’ll give you a hand getting that one out of your head as well.
you asked for it.
It's actually all here, it's a bit of a mess, but http://www.importavehicle.info/2013/04/direct…
Australia doesn't use vehicle titles in the strictest sense. But it would potentially be a bit easier with a country whose primary language is English.
Would still be a pain in the butt, but at least the paperwork would be more likely to be in English.
Now THAT will be a pricey endeavor.
