Yup, theoretically if you bought oil from them, ran it for an interval, and poured it back into the bottle, you could return that, too!
Yup, a few of us still live there! (or at least in the Detroit Metro Area.)
That’s 76 RON, too. so think more like 68 AKI.
Thanks for turning me to that app. it’s pretty good!
Oh yeah, for $108 I’ll do it myself. for $40-50, I’m still tempted to have someone else do it.
The draining of the oil into the pan isn’t even the main part of the mess, but I have seen those, they’re neat.
“Up on the lift.” You know, if I had a lift, I might be more inclined. I have the use of one sometimes, but that certainly makes life easier.
Detroit Oppo, I’m game.
Wonder why this post has so few replies?
How is it still the fastest? Veyron, CCX, Chiron...
Yes. you’re allowed to drive on the right side. Just need something 25 years old, that wasn’t brought in prior to it being 25 years old.
Or buy a Wrangler RHD for rural mail delivery, or an old Legacy RHD, or an old Accord wagon RHD, etc.
Basically, the rule is just that they’ve gotta keep you safe enough in a crash…
Here you go, have some Volvo wheel. Pick some from that chart that you’d like to see on the van.
email me at my username at the mail of googles.
+5 is usually pretty damn manageable. in addition, the wheels will stick out 5mm so not much, at best. can probably make any of those wheels work.
Just an image of a poster they made, I’m afraid. but they use the 5x108 bolt pattern. It’s generally not too expensive to get a set of Volvo wheels secondhand.
So, what you’re saying is you need some cool Volvo wheels, because my goodness there are a lot of them. and numerous in 16x7! (and if you get them from past 1998, you’ll have the offset you’ll need because FWD)
I think new hardtops would anger more people than they would help. Plus, not exactly a “restoration” part.
Carfax won’t tell you anything more than that. I ran an Autocheck. it just says “Multiple Impact collision” on July 8th, 2015.
Cars to save: 1. 1983 Volvo 240.
Was given a Volvo 240 for free, had been sitting for 10 years.
Had it sitting at a friend’s house in Los Angelesbecause I couldn’t get it running quickly. No paperwork.
Over Christmas, his dickhead landlord had it towed as an abandoned vehicle. It’s coming up for auction from the tow yard…
It’s going alright. Catching up on some Youtube and devising schemes to save all the cars I want to save.
