ACII is amazing, as is that entire arc. Honestly, the only one I'd skip would be III, and even that had some good aspects.

Man, this is really depressing. I also though Black Flag nearly surpassed Brotherhood as the best game in the series, but this sounds like a major step backwards. I can't believe this might be the first "main" game in the series that I don't play.
