Just because you disagree with her point doesn't make it not true. To think that patriarchy, rape culture, etc. are not problems in our society is more about you than it is about Anita or any other feminist that brings attention to these issues.

Maybe because Big Daddies are massively armored guys with fucking drills for hands, and a Little Sister looks and sounds like a small child?
Can you seriously explain what you think cherrypicking means?
Nope, just the part about how sexualization in games can be annoying.
Hey, by sometime in April they are worth 100%.
This is maybe the dumbest fucking thing I've read today, and I've read a lot of the comments on this article.
So, you are exactly making Anita's argument. Nicely done!
That's because you're a gamer hating SJW who lets the liberal media tell you how to think.
I'm not a racist, but...
That would be really awesome, thanks!
Makes sense. I actually think this is incredible, because it seems like Marvel is making huge commitments to what comic fans want and (at this point) knowing the non-hardcore will follow.
Yeah, I get that. And I also agree that Iron Man was made popular by the movie but was certainly more well-known than Black Panther or Captain Marvel.
That's another problem. What I'm really saying is that the MCU doesn't have access to a Wonder Woman-type female character. It's pretty exciting, though, that they are making a standalone film about a character that most MCU fans (outside of the hardcore) don't know much about. I think this is something to…
As the resident Kotaku comic guy, any chance you could do a post recommending some good story arcs? I'm trying to get back in, but it's daunting.
The thing is, what Marvel female superhero is anywhere comparable to Wonder Woman in terms of wide recognition and appeal? I know who Captain Marvel is, but I know a hell of a lot more about Wonder Woman.
It's not like these movies are thought up in a day. Marvel has clearly had a plan, but they are also in the business of making money. If something like GoG (which is clearly a b-list team) had flopped, they likely couldn't have justified an even more ambitious plan.
If I only had 10 bucks to spend, for the rest of eternity, I'd rather it be on one of the greatest games ever than on Saints Row 3.
If you can find a better way to spend 10 bucks, I'm all ears.
It really proves that there's more than one way to skin a cat. Or a Nazi, for that matter.
