Maybe Disney asked him for a good reason to let him make it and he said The Way of Water was 2.3 billion good reasons.

According to The Numbers.

Alita was the closest thing I saw to a manga in live action - for good and for ill. It looked great and was fun, but that episodic structure hurt it a lot.

I think it’s supposed to mean preserve it now before the shelf life for the last remaining physical copy of something doesn’t work anymore.

Right like the whole “it hurts our bottom line” line has ALWAYS been bullshit. No it doesn’t especially when talking about classic or vintage video games, that are no longer sold by the IP holders in ANY form, and the only legal way to get/play them is to find a used copy and system to play them on, where ZERO of that

I mean , if you think long term , pretty much EVERYTHING has a shelf life.

But that is the crux of the article. It is possible to store and distribute any game. The problem is the industry is largely uninterested in doing so outside of a relative handful of mostly higher profile titles. Which means that unless you are willing to go the piracy route you are left hunting hunting the

Physical media has a shelf life.

Here’s to piracy. It’s really the only reason why video games from the 80s & 90s are still available to play. Want to play that arcade game you spent way too many quarters on back in the day? Piracy lets you do that. Want to play a beloved Atari or Sega Master System game? Piracy lets you do that. The companies that

My guess is they didn’t want to deal with the implication of why they’re trying to hurt the career of a rising young black actor. Don’t want to get blackballed by an accusation of racism if you’re the only one coming forward with allegations.

Well, according to Rolling Stone, the administration of Yale School of Drama sent out an email about “rehearsal etiquette and violence” over his behavior, so there’s that, minor though it is. Plus there’s literally decades of stories about people in movies and TV being awful and abusive towards people underneath them

How would one go about doing that? I’ve known some real assholes in my life but I would only consider reporting someone operating within my own sphere. His classmates at Yale don’t have Feige’s number.

Probably just didn’t know about his behavior to people beyond their personal situation.  If there’s really a pattern of this then once the first public accusation is made, things start to snowball.

I liked What Lies Beneath. Probably would have loved it had the trailer not given away the big twist. I also thought 6 Days 7 Nights was fun, if a bit beneath him. Regardless, how you can put either of those on his worst list but not dreck like Paranoia, Extraordinary Measures, and Ender’s Game?

Replace him with Don Cheadle!  Also replace Chris Pratt with Don Cheadle.  And hell, Don Cheadle for Hela.

1 x 1 = 2!!!!!”

Well we all know that when a victim comes forward they receive nothing but positive attention and career opportunities.

Nobody’s arguing he isn’t an effective villain.  The trick is to find a guy who’s good at pretending he’s an effective villain, not a guy who just is one
