fuckin NUKED her. Well done.

THE NEOLIB WILL GET PWN3D IN THE DEBATES AND AFTERWORDS, FULLY AUTOMATED LUXURY SOCIALISM is one of the dumber shibboleths of the Brooklynite left.

(a cold wind whips up around you)

Seriously, a month out from the election and this is the piddly shit you’re focusing on. The fuck is wrong with you?

Who gives a shit?

This is a thoroughly dumb fucking take and Splinter sucks.

Bingo. Nailed it.

There’s not all that much you can say about Spider-Man 2, though, right? Most everyone loves it, most everyone thinks the middle lasts a couple scenes too long, train scene’s great, it made a ton of money. But you can go on forever at the many ways Spider-Man 3 just doesn’t work.

w/r/t X3: These sorts of things are in almost every superhero movie, so I guess I have to learn to live with them, but the “climax that alternates between hundreds of people getting blown up and a few main characters talking amongst the carnage” is very very easy to get wrong, and hoo boy does The Last Stand get it

I just twitched after reading that ring reference.

Two things I remember about Superman Returns.

OBAMA DIDN’T SAY THE WATER WAS SAFE, YOU PUTZ

The Hurricanes’ first season is old enough to drink now.

He drank filtered water, said that filtered water was OK to drink, but that unfiltered water was not, and that the goal was to make unfiltered water as safe to drink as filtered water.

Obama drinking water (which, by the way *didn’t happen in the way Moore described*, which is either an oversight or a lie) depressed the vote? That is a stupid argument.

Probably doesn’t help that he remains committed to being absolutely full of shit:

Mike Riley was such a pointless, knee-jerk hire. I realize that Pelini couldn’t stay in Lincoln if he was going to keep antagonizing his bosses and the fans, but the Riley choice was made solely on the basis of “he’s quiet and pleasant.” Could’ve picked a rando from the stands for that.

It’s agreed that Joker would’ve been in Scarecrow’s role in Rises, yes?

I like TDK better on TV than I did in the theater, where its overstuffed length toward the end became a little bit of a slog. (But only a little bit; it’s still a great movie.)

Eh, no one really cares about Oregon’s ZaNy® uniforms anymore. Though perhaps because the team sucks.
