I think this is the Buick turbo v6 swap, essentially a Grand National engine.

Oh look, a post about a Delorean on jalopnik. I wonder what the comments are like?

You are the person I loath at car shows.

The engine wasn’t great, but mine runs like a clock. They only really have problems when they sit for extended periods of time.

I love the car, the idiots not so much. I’ve considered making pamphlets to hand out that have correct info about the car.

Try pulling up in a Delorean, endless “facts” and comments on how my car is a piece of shit from someone who has never seen one before.

Pull up in my Delorean to get fuses and brake fluid for my pickup, and get told by “experts” that my Delorean is a piece of crap car and it’s no surprise I need to fix it.

I agree with Foxxwoof, sometimes simple straight lines can actually do more than any amount of curve or aerodynamics.

I’m personally a fan of the 70’s and 80’s wedge design, the harsh straight lines are something that you never see because of modern aerodynamic design.

The Delorean, my dream car that I eventually got to own.

Went through the comments looking for this. Some car owners can make a list of stupid comments about their car, Delorean owners can write volumes.

There was, it was called the Legend Turbo system. And it would have been an option I found the company had survived another year or two.

Delorean tachs do that when the engine is off, it’s just a quirk.

I’ve never charged anyone for photos, I love talking to people about the car and trunk and be polite as possible.

Top speed of the Delorean was around 140 mph.

Paint it black, make it awd/rwd, and slap a big honkin turbo system on it and we’re good.

I wasn’t working there this weekend, the business I work for provides the sound/announcement system for the event.

It gets better, his nickname is Flash. His real name is Eugene.

If they were closer the target would have heard him say sorry before he got shot.

My forever dream car. The Delorean DMC-12
