I’m going to watch Ke Huy Quan’s name get announced until I don’t break down at the same time as Ariana DeBose announcing it. I know it’s a parasocial thing, but I’ve never felt so invested in someone’s award success. 

While I understand the career-achievement angle for JLC, she isn’t even the best supporting actress in that movie. I’m glad they at least noticed Hsu to nominate her, and I’m sad she appears to have no chance of winning.
