Completely. I liked him when he was with the other Defenders in that show, hated him whenever he was on his own, and left thinking they had a great opening to do Heroes for Hire.

Watched Phantom of the Mall last night on this recommendation. Not only was it filmed in the same mall as Chopping Mall, but there’s an early scene with a press conference set up in what I’m certain is the exact same spot in the mall as the press conference at the beginning of Chopping Mall.

Look. They want to realize their vision of playing out the San-Ti invasion in real time. As a fan, just put yourself in cryo-sleep then wake up each time a new season is released. And maybe go see Wimbledon.

Which is turning into a feedback loop. No one gets invested in the new stuff because Netflix has a reputation for cancelling, and Netflix cancels things because no one is willing to get invested, but no one wants to get invested because...etc etc.

A preview of how they’ll drag out the last season of Stranger Things.

Michael Patrick McGill, who also voices General Ross in What If...

It’s one of those things where I could tell there was something special about the story telling, but it wasn’t grabbing me. I’m glad it grabbed you and enough other people to get a second season.

Yeah, I’ve noticed the changing lineup, but this one was the first one that hurt. Disney+ really should disable the button to skip the credits for 97, they seem legit important.

Having the episode start with Magneto and Gambit missing from the opening credits (though, welcome Nightcrawler!) was an immediate twist of the knife I wasn’t ready for.

I’m not really going to defend either, but given a choice...at least there’s the half hour of getting to build the Brick Head.

SNL was always better 10 years ago because (drawing of plane covered with red dots).

Two thoughts on the Phantom Menace Brick Headz set. First, that’s some serious Qui-Gon erasure. Second, if the Darth Maul doesn’t split in half at the waist then what even is Lego doing?

Can we get this story as season two while the long process of writing, filming, and FX for The Dark Forest is being worked on?

Not gotten to this episode yet, but have read the book. From the moment they announced the adaptation I wondered if they’d Do The Thing, even though it felt impossible that they wouldn’t.

Two thoughts. First: that’s about $100 cheaper than I expected, and I was tempted even at the higher value. Second: I discovered one campaign that Lego minifigures make great miniatures, even scale pretty well on a standard battle mat, so it’d be great to get some of those new heads. It also meant we could tweak the

I would love something episodic, rather than serial, within the MCU. We sort of get that with What If... but I’m thinking more live action. I think Agents of SHIELD could be that (though probably with a cast switch up as I suspect not everyone would come back, and Jimmy Woo should 100% become a series regular).

That’s nine really good films. And, hey, Jurassic World too.

This looks like the showcase that Walton Goggins has always deserved.

Okay. I’m mostly on board. But I just need to know...

I wonder if it would have had a chance at the International category if Japan had submitted as their nominee.
