The cardinal sin of Into Darkness was trying to remake the best original series movie when I stand by they should have remade the worst one, because then you’ve got nowhere to go but up. Maybe, but it feels weird to consider recasting the TNG characters when we’ve got a show on air right now with the original cast still playing the parts.
