I would have loved to see it as a throwaway scene in the TNG episode where the 20th century people were woken from hibernation. Imagine a preacher or traditional conservative sort, confused by a crewmember wearing the infamous male skirt uniform and asking:

Star Trek: Voyager. The producers chose the wrong premise to return to the TNG-style episodic format. A ship alone, lost on the other side of the galaxy needs to have a serial format. The BSG reboot showed that.

I have several ideas that are way better than anything on TV right now so definitely my own show.

Stargate Universe. Season 1 & early part of 2 was super intense.. characters were actual real, believable people with real flaws.

Star Trek.

Voyager or Enterprise. Take your pick. Both were badly mishandled from the foundation up, and crippled by poor writing and interference by executives.
