Most people can't drop 40k on a car and rarely drive it while still needing another car for a DD, and us being Jalops we would still want something fun for a DD.

I paid $10k with 90k miles on mine in 2012, it was in really good shape for an 8 year old car, most of the other cars I found had been abused.

I've had my 04 for two years and the door lock switch has been the only thing that has broken so far.

I thought Arkansas was bad, this is much worse, it's like cars don't have rear view or side mirrors there.

Get the GTO a green card, stat!

Stalk them obviously.

Playing in boxes is fun, didn't everyone play in cardboard boxes as a youngster?

I didn't know that the majority of DS9s cast were theater actors but I did know that the TNG cast were a bunch of practical jokers. I can easily see that everybody pacing around working on their lines with looks of deep concentration their faces and such wouldn't be as welcoming for guest stars as a bunch of people

It's hard to make perfect people interesting, that's why DS9 had the best characters, they all had problems and imperfections like real human beings. It also didn't hurt that they had slightly better actors top to bottom than the other Trek shows.

I can do the work just fine it's just weird seeing that you aren't nearly as cool or funny as you think you are and seeing every funny facial expression and tic that you don't think twice about in other people. Your mind magnifies these things when they're you even though you know that everybody else does them too.

That makes sense, inventing something and making it great are two distinct tasks, I'm guessing that most people can't do both jobs at a very high level.

I'd like it even better if the harassed person could have a representative go to the meeting with them, sort of like the Bully Beatdown show that used to be on MTV.

Garden variety happiness doesn't have much to do with this article about Scientology. That said, party on.

I bought an IS300 instead. A 2006 or newer RX-8 with MT in good shape was a bit over my 12k budget anyway. Maybe one day I can afford a second car, this would be better for that for me. I was worried about the rotary for a daily driver, I was in outside sales then (and might be again soon) and that puts a lot of miles

If I could drop 10-12k on a second car I would but I don't have it like that at the moment. I've wanted one of these for a long time. I almost bought an RX-8 a few years back but the dodginess of the engines you mentioned the article kept me from pulling the trigger.

*edit*

I halfway expected you to say that when you got back to the office Jalopnik writers were waiting inside to greet you like when Henry Hill got out of prison in Goodfellas.

I like coconut milk fine but hate the taste of coconut everything else. Strange no?

I don't subscribe to that puritan philosophy. I'd be ok being a layabout.

What did he test dirty for?
