I understood that point, what I’m saying is that when he brought in his own financing he was essentially a cash buyer to the dealer at that point. So, why still get the loan? He answered it already though.
Gotcha. It’s illegal in the state I live in is I’m unfamiliar with it. But I still don’t understand, if you were ready to pay cash and didn’t finance through the dealer, why take a loan through your bank with a prepayment penalty clause?
