He GENUINELY ADORES breasts. In a way that's so open and guileless that it somehow manages to NOT be creepy. I might be alone in this opinion, I realize.

House of Leaves by Mark Danielewski. It was one of those books that as soon as I finished reading it I tried to get everyone I know to give it a try. I got repeatedly shot down. In 14 years I have not convinced a single soul to read this book. I get responses like "too meta" or "not into ghosts." *sigh*
These clowns taught me a ridiculous amount. Rewatching old episodes requires that I keep my smartphone nearby just to look up all the references. Also, submitted in the same vein, "Archer".
Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World opened my eyes to what storytelling could be. It didn't have to be rational, realistic, or "serious." It could be insane, and glory in its insanity. It's inspired my writing in so many ways.
