Issues are: 1. It’s bigger and my wife would want a small toy. 2. That 5 speed doesn’t have a clutch on the floor. 3. It’s shaped like a suppository.

The most important parts of the car are pretty ubiquitous and the typical fail points are both known and inexpensive.

If you’re going to spend $30k+ to bring something over in the first place, there’s a good chance that you are either prepared to do work yourself, or already have a good relationship with an Indy qualified to do the work.

I’m actually surprised it took them this long to finally add a RWD model to the regular lineup. I know Audi = Quattro but they already built limited-run RWD R8's and they are very much in demand on the used market. Now just bring back the manual with the gated shifter and I’ll shut up.
