Oo I love that series! Can't wait for series 2 in January. Apparently Tennant is in a US remake of it too?

I absolutely hate the culture of "happiness" that is so ingrained in America. It's unhealthy and it's annoying.
Sorry, Lemur Thanksgiving is still the best.
Count this shiksa as disappointed this is not Hannukah themed, as all holiday-and-clarinet-related media should be.
Yes. But it will be spelled Knorth from then on.
I respect that you support your view and have a rationale, but I do not agree that looking=having an active Tinder profile.
This! I've had a lot of cats over the course of my life, and I've never had one ignore me. Some were a lot more social/affectionate than others, but even the least affectionate ones would miss me when I was gone and seek out love and cuddles on a fairly regular basis. I had one kitty (long since passed, sadly) who use…
That is basically my relationship with the wife's boxer. I ignore him. He ignores me. We both enjoy the love of the nice lady, and we keep it moving. I only pay attention to him when he 'accidentally' knocks my son down the stairs (likely deservedly).
Omg, I sometimes wish I could pay my cat Zephyr to ignore me.
You're potentially compromising anyone you come in contact with who is an infant, elderly, or immunosuppressed though. It's not just about you getting sick individually: it's about the fact that your body then becomes a breeding ground for the virus, allowing you to become a link between a sick and at-risk person…
Sounds more like you're an asshole than someone breached the rules of common decency.
I think we need to focus less on the fart and more on the idiot who isn't getting a flu shot.
I've been at a taping too and I know they give that instruction. But I also think that seeing the president is so exciting that you lose your shit and start screaming your head off anyway. I once saw Bush at the beginning of his presidency (pre-9/11 and all the suckage that followed) and I almost peed myself even…
Got to be in that audience a few years ago as well. It was AMAZING. I think it helped that if Colbert flubs a line, he changes it up ever so slightly, which gives the audience something slightly different to which to respond. I loved how he could be so funny and in character on camera and yet before the show taped, he…
Been to both in one trip to New York (BEST FUCKING BIRTHDAY PRESENT EVER, LOVE YOU HONEY). It's the same guy who warms up the crowd for both shows. I think Colbert feeds off of it a bit more, though, so I think that crowd is generally louder.
I had a similar experience at a taping of the Daily Show. Someone came out beforehand and told us how it was that we be as loud as possible so that it would get picked up by the cameras.
Plus it had a lot of GWU kids. They tend to get a bit out of control.
hey all, has anyone with anxiety/depression ever done cognitive behavioral therapy? Does it work?
