Hmmm. Seems to be another face-lift. Many of the same exterior and interior elements are largely the same or very similar.

The real complaint with these cars is that the interior bits are a bit hard and apparently prone to creaking, rattling, and excessive wearing.

A 996 Turbo will go for 35k to 45k. Even more if in exceptional condition or with low miles.

Darn. Guess I need to keep looking for my next track car.

That's a lot of 488's. Is Ferrari just giving these things away at this point?

38 ads... there was so much loading that Chrome almost crashed.

Agreed. The GM LNF had 260 hp back in 2008.

$43k seems like a lot when you don't have the performance features like the diff or brakes. The 230i costs more than 7 grand less than this and likely has many of the same features. I wonder how they can justify that price.

I had an 03 Cobra with pulleys (upper and lower) and tune at some point and the current Mustang definitely feels faster than that car was. The auto traps almost 120 stock. My car was about that fast or a hair faster, so unless they had some mods then they are probably a bit quicker now.

I read that line about 7 times, trying to determine if they just made a mistake. But I'm not so sure, and I love it.

That power puts it in a weird place. Less than the mt09 and street triple, but more than the mt07.

I enjoy Hondas quite a bit, but the EM1 does nothing for me. I think there were just far too common sightings of their very visually similar lesser siblings. Sure, the SI was a better version, but it still looked boring.

Eh? I'm being fooled? It appears nicer but I haven't even seen it in person. I'll withhold final judgment until I actually get to sit in one. I don't think anything yet. Appearances can be deceiving - so I'll see for myself when they start landing in dealers.

I’m not sure what you mean. The turbo sits on the firewall side of the engine bay - where the exhaust manifold is on the NA 2.5 engine for the 6. The NA and turbo 2.5 sit in the engine bay the same way. The front of the engine faces the passenger side and the exhaust side of the cylinder head is on the firewall side.

They only made the 2016 Audi S5 with one engine - the 3.0 supercharged V6. They have put it in many of their cars and it’s a reasonably reliable engine without any known common major issues that I'm aware of. Something that can’t be said of many pre-2015 Audi engines.

The 3 has a nicer interior than the outgoing Golf, but the new Golf model appears to have stepped up its game considerably.

I own a Honda J35. It's sitting in our pilot in the garage. It's a fantastic engine and it sounds fine. But I prefer the sound of the GR. Though the J35 is arguably better in some ways.

In all fairness, the same could be said of the Dodge in this article.
