I disagree, but primarily because I hate the huge tablet screen, peripheral climate control buttons instead of knobs, and the dial gear change. Completely disliked the experience

Gotcha. Apparently the Toyobaru twins are also particularly prone to oil starvation, so the buyer might not be tracking it in a class with super sticky tires. Definitely worth them taking it into consideration if they want to be that much faster.

The Lincoln has a legendary variant of the 4V modular. It is very very similar to the 96-98 Cobra engine (nearly identical). It loves boost and it is very stout stock. With a little internal work, it can be truly exceptional even by modern standards. Read more

If you want dirt cheap straight line performance than your best bet would be a beat up fox body, lt1 or ls1 f body, DSM, or turbo Buick. Read more

It’s not a great chassis, it’s somewhat big and heavy, and the stock drivetrain isn’t great. I'd sooner recommend a V6 sn95 than a G body. Read more

I imagine it isnt too bad though. The Audi S8 weighs pretty much the same as this and it is relatively quick. Mid 11 quarter at around 120 mph. Granted, this SUV has 60 less hp, but I bet it would surprise some people. Wouldnt surprise me if it didn’t feel quick to the driver though.
