This car is one of the rare exceptions where I’m ok that it hasn’t changed much.
I wouldn’t have guessed that a 60 degree v6 could sound that good, but it reminds me of a flat 6.
They hold value relatively well and people seem to hold onto them

The more I listen to it, the more it sounds like a Porsche flat 6 to me. Which is a good thing.
I don’t mind it. When I had my C5Z I liked to have the wheel relatively low. I sit upright and I like it low in most of my cars. Nothing of value was lost.
This was one of several pre-veyron cars essentially. So it sort of lived on into production.
Unless I missed it (only had time to speed read), there are two issues with saying this car shows that it is the future of racing.
Agreed. There’s basically a comparable, and in some ways superior, 911 for each level of GT-R price point now.
That’s why I said it was quick enough to keep up, as opposed to quicker than, or as quick.
