I was betting on BBI winning, but they did well enough. I saw the interview you mentioned on the flatsixes blog post.

Isle of man is so deadly that its sickening.

The BBI car was very fast, as expected.

Porsche is actually more than happy to fill orders. So even if you want something with no options, they will do it.

I would pick the 992 for each and every model over the GTR

I’ve made this comparison before, but whatever:

Oh cool - harassment. Please keep that to yourself.

Hmmm. I’ve been staring at this photo ever since it popped up on the Z06 fan page a couple of days ago. I become less sure if I hate it as I look at it more.

The output shafts are rearward of the hubs on the RSR? Granted, I know the opposite is true of the 991 - where they have the output shafts in front of the hubs to try to push the engine more forward. But just how far can they push it without compromising the suspension setup? I’ll have to take a look in October when

I have posted some junk on opposite lock, but this time of year is less than ideal. Being in finance during half year does not lend one a lot of free time.

I don’t post any of my content on Jalopnik and I don’t share it on here because I don’t believe people should advertise their content without the permission of the website. Along the same lines, I believe a website should be transparent about any sort of dealings between one publication and another.

No. I’m just friends with the people involved. It’s purely coincidental that I regularly post about them and use their content as opposed to more thorough or detailed content.

This.

Err.... that Camaro is a lot more than a body kit. That should be pretty clear just from the picture you posted.

It is essentially like the late GT1, which was replaced by GT2, before they changed the names around again (at least for IMSA). So I expect some big changes vs. the road car.

It’s amusing at least. I guess I’m just disappointed that LS Fest apparently wasn’t covered by anyone on here. What about it isn’t appealing? They have nearly every type of event (albeit annoyingly limited only to ls powered vehicles).

You don’t care to go to LS Fest or to cover it?

I knew there was flexibility in GTE rules, but I didn’t know there was that much flexibility. And the level of flexibility doesn't seem clearly defined.

So it’s just a coincidence that you know the folks at Hoonigan and you post their videos?

Why does it sometimes feel like Jalopnik pushes videos for Hoonigan?
