Errr... be safe out there. Hopefully you have a weight distributing hitch and a tongue scale to adjust the car placement accordingly.

There’s a difference between feeling a trailer and having a safe rig.

The issue is with the trailer and the trailer technology.

Yeah, I can’t help but wonder if that fuel economy was accounted for incorrectly or if he had a bunch of stints below 55.

This. My favorite exchange from when I lived in an apartment went something like this:

I’ve already neatly filed this one into: “something interesting but kinda dumb to do to an otherwise good automobile. Results unknown but likely poor.”

The Evora and the Exige are still both sold with the 2GR V6 from a Camry in a transverse layout. The 2GR is a bit longer and taller, but a bit narrower than the 9a1 in the Porsche’s.

The goal wasn’t necessarily to be pedantic. Some people think the Cayman has a transverse layout. Not saying the person I replied to thought that, but 90 degrees would be the rotation necessary if they did.

What is that little metal bit that looks like a straw that sticks out of the hood of an LMP1 car? Is it diagnostic related? Is it a handle to remove the hood?

The engine would be rotated 180 degrees, not 90

I test drive one. Shifting that early when on the throttle hard is weird. The ride is also understandably rough with solid axles front and rear with springs rated for high loads.

This... I was looking at new M3's and somehow spent just as much on a new truck instead

Exactly

Nothing wrong with being strange anyway. I wouldn't rule out that adjective in describing myself.

The trend and the corresponding anti-Facebook group can be summed up with ome simple explanation:

I concur. That was a bit of the point though, wasn’t it? I believe that’s what they actually did with the MKIV though. Going primarily in house and partnering with an aerospace company and spending a lot more money to go faster.

The 1967 MKIV actually uses an entirely different chassis from what I understand.

This seems to be a common misconception that Ford couldn’t have done it themselves. They likely went that route because they thought it would be the quickest and most cost effective means of achieving victory. Lola had debuted their tremendous mk6 chassis before the project and Ford already had a relationship with

Let’s be realistic: all beer is pure garbage water
