Fun fact: the 1967 win was done in the MKIV GT40, which was a nearly 100% American effort (still used a Cotti trans) and it managed to go further and faster in that race than any of the other GT40 variants.

You took the words out of my mouth.

Dammit, Ford, now I’m excited.

Yup!

Just buy a Lotus 2-eleven. It is actually the closer spiritual modern version of the 909 IMO

Errr... Lotus always applies a model number designation to their cars. The number goes up with each car iteration. This includes their race cars.

States opinion, calls it a fact, no further discussion is necessary. Move along, folks

“Oh good call, maybe I got lucky in that respect because it never had an issue finding my (beautiful, brown) eyes”

The real issue here is that blower... An eaton? Really? I can see why their parents are disappointed. Do yourself a favor and go with a KB or a Whipple.

75 grand for a mid size, v6, 335hp CUV. Wow...

👍Looking back, it would be fair to say that I jumped to a conclusion with my comment that isn’t directly related to your comment.

Ouch. Not sure why you’re taking it so seriously. And just for your information, I actually did pretty well on my SAT’s 12 years ago and even better on the GMAT verbal reasoning section when I took that 4 years ago.

Nope. Only bothered to read your original comment which doesn't seem to paint the whole picture you wanted

Then what was your point? That the car will become unobtanium? Because that also doesn’t really hold water. The 1st gen NSX is just as attainable today as it was in 1990. $60k was a lot in 1990 and the 100k they go for now is a lot.

The new NSX will not be an investment. Even the old NSX is not an investment.

I think there should be rules and additional requirements in place. I'm sure there are plenty of folks who pass the course and find themselves in serious trouble within a month.

The course in Georgia is called a BRC, basic rider course, and it includes a test at the end that is the same as what the dmv would have you do. Emergency braking, box figure 8, evasive action, slalom, turn from stop, etc.

Far as I know, the Porsche folks aren’t dealing with this issue with their 991.2S wheels and they have a 20 in the front and 21 in the rear.

The problem is that “normal,” non-car, people see a cat with patina and think: “gross. What an old and ugly car.”

If you look at used prices of the desireable hummer models and trims, you will find that Americans have already forgiven it.
