Cool story. Guess I just don’t have enough will power to spread evenly between working 50-60 hours per week and taking 10 total hours of night classes to get my MBA. Under 40 hours of sleep per week should be more than enough to keep me going :)

That may be true, but I didn’t want to bother with all of that. I was more than content with the marginally lighter and stiffer frc body :)

The key word there is basically ;)

True, but I would never take off the Targa (don’t like the look with it off) and the Targas squeak and rattle and I know that would drive me nuts. The few remaining noises in my car are enough to drive me to the edge.

Not sure if you meant to reply to me, but here’s a fun fact: there is a company that sells a pretty pricey out that will convert a C5Z to a Targa top frc. Looks exactly like an frc, but has a removable Targa top.

1982 “Collector Edition.” Last of the C3.

The 7th gear actually isn’t insanely low in comparison to the older 6 speed. The 7th gear in the Z06 is a 0.45, while a base C6 with the 6 speed had a 0.50

They are borderline acceptable. If you don’t need a back seat or much cargo room, then they work in most situations. Z06 is a little loud and plenty rough. Also, it’s a little frustrating in heavy traffic because even a Camry looms over you.

They didn’t make a Z06 convertible.

Oh my...

Totally appropriate... for a child

Awwww :(

I suppose you’re right. I still take notice of, and appreciate, the rare 4runner or Taco that has tasteful overlanding or crawling mods and whatnot.

No 4runner, Tacoma, or 86 love? Booo

I think the new Tacoma has style

Nope. The older generation was sold as a Cressida in the US though (which the article points out).

I really like the Evora 400 in orange:

Your opinion is bad and you should feel bad (jk)

I’ll break it down for you:

“Lucky or not, it won. FACT.”
