LSD???

“it can’t be rear wheel drive because of snow”

I think I know what you mean, but for your own edification, GM made their last true big block V8, the L18, in 2009.

You are correct

GM still makes a Suburban HD

Sales numbers are not what they used to be, but they move a decent number of cars each year. It’s also going to depend on what region in which you reside.

This is incorrect. The Tahoe and the Escalade consistently outsold the Expedition and Navigator from 2002 forward. The Navigator only exceeded the Escalade in 2003 and by a narrow margin. Overall, Ford and GM were neck and neck (if you don’t include the Yukon and Suburban), with GM coming out on top.

Ah. One of the finest examples of BS acceleration math I have ever seen. You are truly a master.

The interior is appallingly bad. It’s not just that the interior looks dated, but everything feels exceptionally cheap and flimsy. I wouldn’t be surprised if these things start falling apart in the first 40K miles.

I don’t like it one bit and I like the C7 enough to seriously consider it as a replacement for my Z06. But I certainly wouldn’t do that to one.

I didn’t know the S197 Bullitt was that rare. I’ve seen atleast 3, including one a few months ago. I guess I should have snapped a pic. Haha.

I’m not sure what your point is. I’m passing on perceptions that I have heard from other individuals. I did not state my opinion on the NSX.

Incorrect

Calm down, slugger. He prefers V8 engines. Relax. Not everyone is concerned strictly with being the fastest person out there.

Though you could apply the same technology and boost from the smaller engine to the larger displacement one and come out on top.

The old raptor was Slooooooow.

That’s where it first started for me. I saw an NSX in the distance at a mall and I pulled up next to it and my girlfriend asked what I was doing. I pointed out the car and she was not impressed, at all. She thought it looked worse than my C5, which actually made me scratch my head. lol.

This is not my experience when talking to non-car people who don’t know what the NSX is. Not a single one has guessed that it’s a Ferrari or other exotic. Most guess corvette or have no clue whatsoever.

I’m going to say something about the old NSX that is going to be very unpopular. This is not something that I personally believe but it’s something I’ve heard from multiple non-car people when shown the NSX in photos and in person (cars and coffee, etc.).

2J full engines are exceptionally easy to find in the US. The NA block found in the GS300, SC300, and IS300 is just as capable as the GTE block from the Aristo and Supra. The GS, SC, and IS were produced and sold in high numbers and the cars themselves are very inexpensive, making the engines even more so inexpensive.
