The vg30det is not the same as the vg30dett. the shortblock is pretty much the same if I remember correctly, but the heads are different. everything is interchangeable between the two though.

Actually, the c5z had worse aero than the coupe. that’s why team corvette went with the coupe body instead of the frc body. the fries is stiffer and lighter but the coefficient of drag is somewhat worse.

I hate to be the one to say it, but these just aren’t that great by modern standards. Allow me to clarify, a 2012 C63 coupe is significantly nicer and noticeably less expensive.

I think Lotus should move beyond these humdrum Toyota engines and start putting something decent behind the driver. JMO.

I have test driven both, on several occasions. I found the two to be very similar in pretty much every way. But that’s just my opinion.

The two are actually very much on the same level. The 7 series may be considered by some to be the slightly better car, but in every objective way, the two are neck and neck.
