Why would I want a flimsy chassis that is over 25 years old, with a recirculating ball steering setup and an anemic 2.3l inline 4?

Agreed

This is very true.

I agree, which is why I said:

Look up: Respondeat Superior

I whole-heartedly agree. That being said, it is sometimes nice to have an engine that is willing to rev freely and that can rev up to or beyond 7500 rpms. The characteristics of such an engine can be intoxicating. Though, the rush of instant torque that comes with a large displacement engine is also fantastic.

Actually, a lot of German and European cars had recirculating ball steering until the 90's. Here’s a quick short list:

The S12 Silvia doesn’t get much love, but I would argue that it’s a very competent little car. The RS-X trim had a 188 hp DOHC turbo 4 (FJ20ET) and moved out decently thanks in part to how little the car weighed. They looked pretty neat too:

1981 280zx turbo with enough work to get it to about 300 at the wheels would keep me plenty happy.

Why doesn’t anyone manage to enclose as much of the engine bay as possible with metal mesh? You probably can’t protect everything, but a mesh in a spot similar to where an under-tray would go could be a good start!

“Other side of the tracks”
“urban fellow”
Repeated use of “cracker.”

A naturally aspirated 5.3 in a suburban is a recipe for an Suv that is painfully slow. Even with the bolt ons and tune, it would more than likely not eclipse 300 at the wheels.

You are mistaken, the C5Z makes 405hp from 2002-2004, not 400.

I was not familiar with Amy of those tests. I was referring to this test:

A recent C&D article of the Nismo came up with an 11 flat at 128mph. So nearly 130 but just shy of 10's. Though it wouldn’t be hard to believe that one could dip into the 10's with enough runs.

Wait? A nismo r35 is rice? It runs 10's at nearly 130 mph. I wish my c5z was that quick...

I just paid 3.49 per gallon for premium gas in Atlanta. Ugh

Do you see this, Nissan?

The W203 is crap. There, I said it. Come at me, Bro.

Being upset about an R34 sedan being abandoned is like being upset that a 2003 G35 was abandoned.
