Did you read the question? It is a list of all cars that the driver gets unfairly labeled an asshole by default. Your list is of cars driving almost exclusively by assholes.

Why does it make them a bad person that they spent their (presumably) hard earned money on their dream car? In fact, saying (s)he will "look like a terrible douchebag" without addressing that the person is not in fact a genuine is the exact reason why Lambo was posted on this AOTD in the first place.

Definitely ruined for whoever owns this car.

Brilliant.

Dodge, After All These Years, you may not be around much longer, but Don't Stop Believin'. Any Way You Want It That's The Way You Need It, but hopefully it's not Too Late. If you can make this work, we'll see Who's Crying Now. If not, I'll Be Alright Without You and we will go our Separate Ways.

2002 Mitsubishi Lancer ES (similar to the one pictured) with a slushbox. My parents got it for me until I could afford my own car. It was a nice little ride, although the only other cars I had driven to that point were a Toyota Echo and S-10, so my perception may have been off.

I never thought I'd see the day where a car manufacturer would see the Toyota Corolla S and think "hey... we need something with a body kit and no power upgrade too!"

You win, strictly based on this picture.

That cupholder looks so unbalanced that if I owned the car I wouldn't be able to stop myself from seeing how tall a stack of random shit I could make.

Holy shit, I am 26 and if given the chance, I would not hesitate to drive around in a Mega Man helmet.

My silver lining is the Escort has been reliable so I can be happy with it. But yeah, I am most definitely in the works of acquiring my dream car(s) though.

Nice!

Damn, beat me to it. While I wouldn't call the Kizashi an enormous disappointment (it wasn't too bad of a car of in itself), it in no way lived up to the design of the concept.

Yeah, I guess it does come across as "this is all I will ever need!" which is not so. I meant it more along the lines that the car represents my ability to be happy with what I have, not yearn for what I don't have. That said, when somebody flashes their brand new V6 Mustang and Miata, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't

So true! That seemed to be Ford's mindset in the early 00's.

Nice, another ZX2 owner! It's too bad you didn't get the price you would have wanted initially, but I am glad you are reaping the benefits of the car now.

My ZX2 (not pictured, but similar) taught me three things: how to drive stick, how to stick up for myself, and that having a car to impress people is overrated.

This article explains A LOT about Mustang/Camaro/Challenger drivers.

On one hand, we can chop this up as "rich people problems", but I would really feel for the guy who sold everything to travel the states in a Lambo if it happened to him.
