Sometimes, I think the simple answer is the best. I’d be willing to bet the dude probably just didn’t know about the inventory on the lot. There have been a few times I searched around online for a car I was looking for, found it, and then drove to the dealership within 30 minutes to go test drive it.

When my wife and I first got married (late 90s), she needed a car. It was her money, she was trading in her car and she was the one that was going to drive it.
