I see two great stories here. One, that you survived a crash because of safety measures on the highway.

I’d like to say GM should go for it and bring to North America.

Ya I get it. I have a long bed Tacoma for my offroad motorcycle, but in reality most reno related stuff I’ve ever had to carry fit fine in a Wagon or SUV. If I ever needed more than a few sheets of drywall/plywood, half dozen bags of cement or soil etc., I’d get it delivered by the yard/bulk.

Well, they need to get celebrities into this car (and out of their Range Rovers) to convince the sheeple that wagons really are cool.  Then, maybe, the cool factor will trickle down to create demand for the wagons we can all afford.

Then we could call the drivers Rodeo Clowns :)

I’m not convinced about the utility of Pickup. I did a major house reno with my Passat wagon and carried 12' long 2x8s on the roof rails. When I was done, I got a pickup and found that much of what I carried on/in the wagon couldn’t be accommodated in the pickup bed. I’d have to open the sliding rear window and extend

This is what we need. Front wheel drive cab-over(ish) pickup truck with 4 doors. Option for Electric on demand rear wheel drive.  Oh, and keep the low load height.

Overall, it’s all about less-vertical rear glass. People want a ‘racier’ looking truck. For some reason.

WTF are those suggestions? These are farther off base than any recent WCSYB.

Somehow, GM always makes the wrong decisions at the right time.

3rd Gear.

I was gonna bitch (‘cause Jalops gotta bitch) about your lack of stain on the, what looks to be poplar, wood. But then I read that you did stain it. Why would you not attempt to match the dark faux wood trim on the dash? Unfortunately, your picnic table stands out like a ....picnic table. Find some foam and grey vinyl

Well, F1 guys have been known to blow even the single nut...

“the single center-locking lug nut is capable of swapping out in just 0.5 seconds per corner, while the current 5-lug pattern takes around 0.8 seconds per corner.”

How many consumers tattoo their favorite brand name/logo onto their skin?? Believe it or not, motorcyclists are different than ANY other product owners. A H-D CEO has to be in tune with customers, in a way that no other CEO has to be.

In what I think is the surest indicator of change, the H-D booth at a recent motorcycle show had a DJ, mixing what sounded like Europop music. It was bizarre to say the least, not hearing classic rock. Maybe H-D really are poised for new roads.

Really?? A guy with a name like Torchinsky is making fun of Dutch names?

I find that hard to believe. I mean it’s only 20 years old. I could see if we were talking a 20yr old Camaro or something. But a Boxster?

“this does feel like a throw away car. Drive it until it breaks, part out what is valuable, move on.”
