On the one hand, I’m amazed I hadn’t seen something like this before, because it’s genius and this is the internet. On the other hand, I’m not sure I’m comfortable desecrating The Big Lebowski by juxtaposing it with our Dipshit in Chief...

Volkswagen needs to pull a page out of Foxconn’s playbook. Make like you’re going to build a plant somewhere, but you just need to find the “right place.” That’ll convince the Dipshit in Chief that you’re going to give him what he wants, so he’ll back off of the tariff threats.

“Depends on what model you get” seems like a fair evaluation of Infiniti. There a are good ones people actually want, but these seem like portfolio-filler crossovers that exist just for the premium lot at Avis. No thanks.

Seriously, what the fuck are y’all trying to do to me? Between this and the $20K Bentley in Vegas earlier this week (not a NP/ND car), I mean you’re telling me I can have a total of 22 combined all luxury cylinders for $35K all-in? $1,600 a cylinder? 1002 combined horsepower? For $35K? I mean, shit, I can use one to

I always figured these were just the equivalent of truck nuts for semi drivers. Now I know that...well, they’re only 95% equivalent to truck nuts.

Amazing that the company which successfully remembered to program fart noises into the car, which is so very necessary to its successful operations, didn’t remember the existence of trains.

Digging the tunnel wasn’t a bad idea. Not laying down tracks and using an automated tram was.

I was thinking a Volvo V70 Convertible or Saab 9-3 Vert would be a good solution, too.

I can guarantee that someone in this guy’s friend or work circle recently insulted his GV80 by calling it an overpriced Hyundai sometime in the past 2 weeks, and calling him poor.

Seems the difference is a human says “hmmm, those bright flashing lights are making it hard for me to see, I’ll slow down” and a Telsa says “No idea what that is, best not to worry about it”.

Humans gonna human.

With consumer demand dropping fast for the Cybertruck, Elon is going to have massive production capacity and no market. He is going to find a way to make the government buy Teslas as fleet vehicles as a way to “save money” in his role at the Department of Government Efficiency (or whatever they called it). Just look

Just wait until the incoming regime unleashes cars with dysfunctional FSD next year... no pedestrian, driver, or passenger anywhere will be safe!

The idea of replacing some inconveniences with yet ANOTHER headache to manage

“we are in the midst of a multidecade, secretive arms race.””

That VW dumbed down their lineup JUST for the US and doubled sales says a lot more about how dumb Americans are than it does about VW.

This is a deeply stupid vehicle. Why even bother, VW? And what the hell does “Pro” mean as a name in context to a family minivan?

ND. Old ironic cars like this are fun and exciting for about 10 minutes, then they’re just massive regrets that take up valuable space in your garage.

I was thinking the same thing. Having owned a couple of Miatas and been a part of the community since the 90s, I’m pretty sure it’s the NC that gets the side-eye. The NB is basically a refreshed NA.

The issue is that the second-generation (NB) Miata is consider — totally unfairly — to be the red-headed stepchild of the Miata line.
