Apparently you weren’t meant to be there if it made you suicidal. And admissions makes mistakes all the time! The number of kids who drop out is proof enough of that.

Okay, I’m not going to disagree about mental health on campuses, because I think it’s pretty abysmal across the board. But I really don’t think that blaming professors for doing their jobs is helping any.

Thor Chris.

Ours was very similar, we had grandmothers raising grandkids, working moms, stay at home moms, a variety of people who were just looking for someone who was in the same boat. They were a lifesaver for me, they really helped me to get out of the house and to be social even when I didn’t want to be.

The two things I found most helpful was joining a Moms Club or MoPS group, and when the kid finally goes to school. My BFF and I met through a mom’s club, she was the first person to come visit me when I had #2, she is the friend that would help me hide a body if I asked her to.

You are wrong and you should feel bad.

Random internet commenter, I feel like you are maybe living inside my head?

It's also excellent on a croissant!

There is a procedure they can do which involves cutting the tendons so the cat cannot extend its claws. It's much more humane than declawing.

Blasphemer!

Except when it’s in utero and an inconvenience, right?

DC native, so yes I know all about the low rent people.

Yes. This is nothing like Potomac.

Thank you.

There are no low-rent suburbs of DC.

As someone from MoCo, I feel confident in saying that while these women may be wealthy, they are most certainly NOT typical of Potomac. They are decidedly Potomac-adjacent.

So not true. Just because you never learned it doesn't mean that none of us did.

Uhhhh, then you aren't really against censorship.

The fertility rate is below replacement levels in something like 80% of the world. Although life expectancy is now longer, we aren't reproducing enough to make up for those who are dying.
