I’ve gotten into Chuck Klosterman’s work in the last few years, and I think his newest book, The Nineties: a Book, is one of his best, although I think a better title would something like From Nevermind to 9/11.

When I watched the whole run of Veep last year one thing I noticed about its early years is how much the characters worried about minor gaffes of the sort that would barely register at all in the Trump era.
What makes you think they don’t really believe the “grooming” stuff?
“Going native” has been around forever.

The characters in his movies who use that word generally aren’t decent.
Jon Stewart was the one who picked Trevor for the gig, so I think you should give Jon at least some of the blame for the ratings drop.
There are a lot of things young people do that I never did even when I was young, but I don’t think it’s fair to judge people on the standard of “I never did that!”
