Thats exactly the point. Its not new, its a deviation. There are tons of China tablets like that. Even if they weren't quality. That makes this tablet NOT NEW.
The difference is this brought something new. Windows 8 on a tablet is not anything new.

Theres tons of apps for creation. Theres video editors that people use to make youtube videos; theres html/css coding tools for websites (Diet Coda). Theres AutoCad on the ipad. The Adobe software suite. No offense but just because you dont see something doesn't mean its not there. The web is a big place.

Keep in mind retina displays typically keep everything the same size on the screen just add in more detail. Looking at how MS has handled resolutions in past releases; there wont be more detail per say just more screen realestate.

Well said, but lets wait till pricing is released before we go all ninja on them. I have a feeling when pricing is released people will actually back out on buying it due to the lack of apps, and the large price. Apps will change, but will price?
MS hates bloatware. Its the MFG's that like bloatware. Vizio talks about this in their column on the Verge.
I'm going to have to wait and see... Windows Phone 7 was supposed to be awesome. It was good but app developers lagged on it. I'm going to wait on price and more. But if the pro isn't 1000+ Dollars I'll probably get one. Just so I can set it next to my Macbook Pro and VNC into it instead of running a Virtual Machine.
