I received a NYX eyeshadow trio in my Ipsy bag this month and am really pleased with it! The shades are bronze, brown and black and the color payoff is very good. Has anyone else tried it?

Aside from teachers, I didn’t grow up calling adults “Mr. or Ms.” and I feel silly when anyone, no matter their age, addresses me as “Ms.” I guess it wasn’t that important to my parents. I don’t think it’s rude for a child to address someone by their first name.

I’m sorry. I may have been insensitive in previous posts and I regret it. Teachers where I live are paid a fair wage (my figure MIL makes over $100K as a first-grade teacher) so I sometimes lose track of the reality teachers in other parts of the country face.

Yes, I do know that. My sister-in-law worked at camp during the summer and I know other teachers who tutor. Not so coincidentally, we live in a place where the cost is living is very high!

THANK YOU! Nurses and teachers do important work but they presumably weren’t forced into their careers and shouldn’t expect to be constantly praised for what they do.
