Not sure the BMW interior is a bad thing, because BMW interiors to me have always been a bit nicer than Toyota interiors (Lexus, is a different story).  But if it’s a nicer Toyota 86 type interior vs sticking with the BMW one, I’m ok w/ the BMW one.

The Jetta might as well not exist on the german/european market (I had to check, they sold last gen here but new gen will be NA only), I’ve yet to see a single one on german streets and the first time I ever heard the word Jetta was when I lived in NA.

According to specs BMW released yesterday and what is reported above the Supra is a whopping 3lbs lighter.

You mean like their own test track with a 5 mile straight where the Veyron keeps setting speed records?

As someone who owned an original NSX and a MKIV Supra, I have eagerly awaited these cars to where I had a deposit on the new NSX, i probably wont make the same mistake with this car.

Even if the BMW is a little more, it’s worth it for the loaner when getting service, much nicer waiting rooms/dealership experience, etc. Of course you have the douchebags all around you dropping their cars of too...but no lifted Tundra bros chugging Monster energy drinks.

Dynamics & styling. Sounds like this car will outperform the Z4 (coupes generally lighter than convertibles).

I guess this is as close to a Z4 coupe as we are going to get.  I am okay with that.

Living in Dallas I know a bit more about this than the video and my understanding was they were employees of AMP, but not sent by the shop.

Reading the article, I think the blame lies more on the guy (Sergey) who cut the filter & had the metal shavings on him; it sounds like Sam wasn’t even on the premises when it happened. Now if Sam had directed Sergey to pull this criminal act to try to get the car at a discount, then, yeah, he’s culpable.  

Sounds like a joke John Hennessey would play on his Vette customers.
